Dress Rehearsal & Photo Week - May 2 - 10

For Dancers:

At the Academy we have 2 unique Rehearsal experiences: In-Class Dress Rehearsal and On Stage Rehearsal. Both are mandatory and play an important role in helping dancers feel prepared and comfortable on stage.

In-Class Dress Rehearsal will take place at the same time as our Photo Week: May 2 - 10.

Bring your dancers to class already dressed in their costumes with hair in a bun and light make-up.

Dance Studio 2 will be used as the photo studio for the class pictures. 

Please note for Class Room changes for Photo Week

• Miss Irina's Classes in Studio 3 ALL WEEK
• Monday, May 5: Miss Lindsey's classes share Studio 1
• Tuesday, May 6: Miss Rita's classes share Studio 1
• Wednesday, May 7: Miss Samantha's classes share Studio 1
• Thursday, May 8: Miss Mya's classes share Studio 1

Your teachers will be in the hallway to help navigate you and the front desk staff will be there to assist you. Teachers will rehearse recital dances in costume when not class is not getting pictues taken. And classes will perform for each other too! Please be patient as this is flots of un for your dancers!

The Class Pictures appear in our Recital Yearbook Program so please be sure to have your dancer in class this week! There are no retakes!

For Musicians:

No Dress Rehearsal but, ALL Music Students get their picture taken for the Yearbook Program, even students not performing in the Recital.

Music Students will get their pictures taken after their lesson starting Friday, May 2 through Saturday, May 10. Music students should proceed directly after their lesson to Dance Studio 2 in the Main Hallway.

Wait patiently by the door to Dance Studio 2 and the photographer Mr. Jamasb or his assistant will call you in as soon as he is ready for you.

Music students, please wear a plain colored top, shirt or dress. The photo will be head shot.

If you would like to have your picture taken with your instrument, please sign up for an Optional Individual photo slot on May 9 or May 10.
