Dance Dress Code
For the safety of the dancers it is important that your student wear the proper dance attire. Below is listed the dress code for each style of dance. This is especially important for our very young dancers. Bedroom slippers that look like ballet slippers are dangerous and can cause them to slip or trip. Be sure all shoes are fitted properly. We recommend Dancer’s Boutique on Stadium in Ann Arbor for all your dance shoes. Leotards, tights, t-shirts and Capri pants are available at the studio.
No jewelry or other dress-up type items may be worn. It is distracting to other dancers and takes away from time spent learning and engaged in dance.
Please put your dancer’s hair in a bun for Ballet and Pointe and in a pony tail for all other dance classes.
